Responsibilities
Identify, assess, and prioritize project risks, developing strategies to mitigate or eliminate potential impacts.
Conduct regular risk assessments and update the risk management plan as necessary.
Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and team members to integrate risk management practices into project planning and execution.
Monitor and report on risk-related issues, ensuring that potential risks are managed proactively.
Develop and implement risk management policies, procedures, and processes.
Provide training and guidance to project teams on risk management best practices.
Prepare and present risk assessment reports and risk mitigation plans to senior management and stakeholders.
Evaluate the effectiveness of risk management processes and recommend improvements.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies related to risk management.
Maintain a risk register, documenting identified risks, their potential impacts, and mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Project Risk Manager or similar role in the project management industry.
Strong understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Experience with project management software and risk management tools.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Certification in risk management (e.g., PMI-RMP) is a plus.
