Perform end-to-end testing, including functional, non-functional, regression, and performance testing, on banking applications like core banking systems, payment gateways, and mobile/online banking platforms.
Create, execute, and maintain test plans, scripts, and cases.
Conduct integration and UAT to ensure seamless interaction between various banking systems.
Identify, document, and track software defects using defect management tools. Collaborate with development and product teams to address defects and ensure timely fixes.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts and continuously optimize frameworks for better test coverage and efficiency.
Work closely with business analysts, developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and ambiguities. Support release management to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
Generate reports and dashboards on test coverage, defect status, and overall system quality. Provide QA sign-off before major releases to ensure stability and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4-6 years of experience in quality assurance within the banking or financial services industry.
Experience with regulatory compliance testing and defect management in a banking environment.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
Knowledge of performance and security testing practices is preferred.
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and testing.
