Responsibilities

  • Customer visits across GCC region to identify and acquire new businesses / applications and support customers on our portfolio of products to the various industries.
  • Observation / analysis of the market and translate market trends into needed application support and product scope.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relations through personal visits and regular communication, in order to meet all sales and growth objectives.
  • Implement and track the sales strategy and account plans for assigned territory & Applications.
  • Analyze customer needs, determine best solution using appropriate Solvochem products and coordinate technical support activities.
  • Attend trade shows and industry functions.
  • Keep abreast of competitive products, applications, market conditions, competitive activities, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of sales experience in the GCC markets, ideally within the chemical industry or a related field.
  • Knowledge of the PU Foam industry and/or Paints & Coatings industry is a plus.
  • Good Communication and fluency in English.
  • Drive and bias for action to deliver the sales plan.
  • Demonstrates sales excellence and business acumen.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrates strong initiative, ownership and proactiveness to meet business objectives
  • Good team worker that can collaborate across internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
