Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network solutions, including configuring and managing Cisco routers and switches with advanced protocols (OSPF, BGP, VLANs, QoS).
- Implement network segmentation and security policies.
- Participate in network infrastructure projects (upgrades, migrations).
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance.
- Manage network inventory and documentation.
- Configure and manage firewalls (Cisco Firewall, FortiGate).
- Provide user support for network connectivity issues and assist with network access requests.
- Generate network performance reports and maintain accurate network documentation.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer to the NCSC team for skills development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in the field of Network.
- Routing and Switching: Proven experience configuring and managing enterprise-grade routing and switching protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, VLANs, QoS).
- Network Security: Solid understanding of network security principles and experience with firewall configuration (e.g., FortiGate, Cisco Firewall).
- Network Design: Ability to create high-level design (HLD) and low-level design (LLD) documentation for network infrastructure.
- Certifications: Cisco CCNP, Cisco CCNP Security.
