Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing and resolving issues related to software, hardware, networks, and operating systems.
  • Installing and configuring new computers, peripherals, and other hardware.
  • Monitoring and maintaining IT infrastructure to ensure it is operating smoothly.
  • Providing training and assistance to users on best practices for software applications, security, and IT tools.
  • Resolving issues related to local area networks (LAN), Wi-Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity.
  • Assisting with maintaining security protocols and ensuring that systems are protected against unauthorized access and malware.
  • Ensuring that systems run efficiently by monitoring performance and performing routine maintenance tasks, like disk clean-ups or removing unnecessary files.

 

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in working with various operating systems such as WindowsmacOS, and Linux.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively, often working under pressure to resolve time-sensitive problems.
  • Writing clear, concise documentation, including instructions, troubleshooting guides, and email communication.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple service requests or issues efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with users in a friendly and professional manner, especially when handling frustrating technical issues.
