Responsibilities

  • Research organizations and individuals online, especially on social media platforms, to identify new leads and potential new markets.
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling and networking.
  • Research the needs of other companies and learn who makes purchase decisions.
  • Contact potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings.
  • Understand the company’s products and solutions to explain and sell them to prospective clients clearly.
  • Understand the sales brief and deliver the pitch-perfect messages to prospective customers.
  • Contact clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products.
  • Sending existing clients greetings and wishes on special occasions and festivals.
  • Maintain database (Salesforce, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information.
  • Comfortable making cold calls and talking to new people all day.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines to achieve targets.

Qualifications

  • Advanced computer skills including proficiency in MS Office.
  • Functional knowledge of the IT domain.
  • Full knowledge of professional social networking platforms like LinkedIn.
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales/marketing.
