Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing to ensure functionality and usability across platforms.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and checklists for different types of applications.
- Conduct regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory tests during release cycles.
- Identify risks early in the development process and propose effective mitigation strategies.
- Participate in a structured onboarding program to reinforce QA skills and address knowledge gaps.
- Work closely with a mentor and technical lead to develop both technical and soft skills.
- Engage in the QA community and contribute to its growth.
- Mentor Trainee QAs and share best practices.
- Take an active interest in the bug discovery process and contribute to software quality improvements.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in testing web, mobile, or desktop applications.
- Strong knowledge of QA methods and understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience building test strategies and assessing test coverage.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking and version control systems.
- Understanding of client-server architecture and experience with API testing.
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Upper-intermediate or higher level of English.
- Ability to multitask and adapt quickly.
- Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and a strong desire for continuous improvement.
