Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Continuously optimize processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Oversee procurement to ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing of raw materials and spare parts.
- Establish strong supplier relationships to secure quality materials and favorable terms.
- Manage logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
- Optimize transportation and distribution networks for cost and efficiency.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Implement systems to minimize waste and prevent overstocking.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team to maximize performance.
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to measure supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of optimizing supply chain operations in an industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of procurement, logistics, and inventory management principles.
- Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
