Responsibilities
Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
Continuously optimize processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Oversee procurement to ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing of raw materials and spare parts.
Establish strong supplier relationships to secure quality materials and favorable terms.
Manage logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
Optimize transportation and distribution networks for cost and efficiency.
Ensure accurate inventory management and maintain optimal stock levels.
Implement systems to minimize waste and prevent overstocking.
Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team to maximize performance.
Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
Establish and monitor KPIs to measure supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
A minimum of 15 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of optimizing supply chain operations in an industrial environment.
Strong understanding of procurement, logistics, and inventory management principles.
Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
