Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle, utilizing project management software to track milestones and deliverables.
- Collaborate with project personnel, vendors, and end-users to understand and document project requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear and actionable technical requirements.
- Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Implement and maintain document control policies and standardized documentation templates.
- Monitor the progress of component projects, making adjustments as needed to ensure successful delivery.
- Evaluate and maintain standards for project components and products.
- Track project expenditures, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
- Compile comprehensive project reports and escalate issues to management as required.
- Ensure compliance with PMO policies, best practices, and organizational standards.
- Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager or in a similar role.
- Comprehensive understanding of project management fundamentals.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and its phases.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
