Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain IT security measures for systems.
- Monitor security alerts, logs, and incidents for potential threats.
- Manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
- Recommend risk mitigation strategies and follow security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST).
- Lead response efforts during security breaches and perform root cause analysis.
- Develop, update, and enforce IT security policies and ensure regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
- Secure cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365) and manage access controls.
- Implement encryption, zero-trust architectures, and data loss prevention (DLP).
- Support patch management and system updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Proven experience in IT security, network security, or cybersecurity.
- Strong knowledge of security tools, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), and regulatory standards.
- Certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
