Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation and coordination of financial audits, ensuring compliance with
- accounting standards and regulations. Coordinate with external auditors on quarterly and annual audits.
- Performing daily/monthly account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Overseeing accounts receivable collections, including monitoring aging reports and following up on overdue accounts to ensure timely payment.
- Monitor and forecast the organization's cash flow, ensuring sufficient funds are available to meet operational needs and financial obligations.
- Develop and implement strategies to maintain adequate liquidity for the organization.
- This includes managing working capital, negotiating lines of credit, and optimizing cash conversion cycles.
- Identify and assess financial risks such as interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, credit risk, and liquidity risk. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the crypto industry and help to identify new opportunities and risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other external stakeholders. Negotiate banking terms, manage bank accounts, and evaluate banking services to ensure the organization's banking needs are met efficiently.
- Collaborate with operations business partners in the decision-making process.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the treasury function. Implement best practices, streamline workflows, and enhance operational efficiency. Play a crucial role in promoting systems development within the department.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/MBA/CPA or ACCA.
- Significant experience of 4-6 years in a fast-paced organization.
- Past experience in audit and statutory reporting is highly desirable.
- Goal-driven, result-oriented, self-motivated, and able to step back and look at the bigger picture.
- Hands-on experience in accounting and reconciliation processes.
- Strong desire to learn and grow in the crypto ecosystem.
- Ability to independently solve problems in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent computer and presentation skills with attention to detail.
- Proven communication skills (written and verbal) with fluency in English.
