Supply Chain Officer (Packaging)

- Analyze demand forecasts and collaborate with production teams to develop
accurate production schedules. - Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities to optimize inventory
management. - Continuously evaluate and optimize packaging costs, including raw materials,
transportation, and storage. - Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best terms and prices.
- Oversee the procurement of packaging raw materials, components, and
services. - Evaluate and onboard new suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery
performance. - Collaborate with suppliers to improve product quality, lead times, and cost-
efficiency. - Coordinate the shipping and movement of packaging materials from
suppliers to production facilities and from production facilities to customers. - Work closely with production teams to develop and execute production
schedules that align with demand forecasts. - Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve
delivery times.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or
Logistics. - Minimum 2 years of experience in the Paper & Board, Packaging
Manufacturing, or FMCG industries. - Proficient in demand planning, cost management, procurement, and
logistics. - Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Proficient in Arabic and English languages.
- Certifications such as APICS CSCP or CIPS Level 4 are highly preferable.
