Senior Data Management Consultant

- Lead Domain Strategy: Collaborate with business units and corporate functions to ensure that domain strategies meet both corporate and business objectives.
- Relationship Management: Exhibit strong relationship management skills to ensure data owners, custodians, and consumers are meeting critical business priorities and effectively interacting across domains to achieve business objectives.
- Industry Engagement: Participate in industry forums and conferences, engaging with clients and partners to gain insights that drive domain strategy and shape industry changes.
- Data Quality Remediation: Coordinate and implement data quality remediation efforts to ensure that data meets the established standards of the enterprise.
- Compliance Oversight: Oversee periodic reviews to ensure continued compliance with data governance policies, including compliance assessments, monitoring, and control testing.
- Document Taxonomies: Create or update document taxonomies and actively participate in the semantic reconciliation of data models.
- MDM Architectural Design: Design Master Data Management (MDM) solutions encompassing ETL, databases, MDM, and outbound data synchronization components.
- Project Sizing and Staffing: Conduct project sizing estimations and develop staffing plans to ensure adequate resource allocation.
- Documentation and Analysis: Document and analyze MDM requirements and the contextual framework of solutions.
- Implementation Guidance: Provide guidance on the implementation of the MDM solution to ensure successful execution and integration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Information Technology, Business Administration).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a consulting firm, with a focus on data management and governance.
- Proven experience in data management consulting or related fields.
- Strong understanding of data governance and quality standards.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions.
