Senior Sales Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities in the African market and secure contracts for engineering projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the region.
  • Form relationships with new clients and ensure the satisfaction of existing clients.
  • Coordinate closely with the technical team within the organization to ensure alignment and achieve sales targets.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the company's engineering services and product portfolio to effectively promote and sell them.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to clients throughout the sales process.
  • Collect and analyze market intelligence to inform the company's sales and marketing strategies.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and identify new opportunities.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
  • 4-5 years of experience in sales engineering, preferably in the FMCG, automotive, packaging, food & beverage, or detergents industries.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic; proficiency in French is preferred.
  • Proven track record of securing contracts and building strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout Africa.
