Responsibilities:
- Create detailed landscape designs, including site plans, planting plans, irrigation systems, and hardscape elements.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless execution of landscape plans.
- Select appropriate plant species based on site conditions and sustainability goals.
- Implement sustainable practices such as water conservation techniques and use of native plants.
- Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in landscape engineering.
- Provide guidance on maintenance requirements for completed landscapes.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
- Prior experience in landscape design or construction management.
- Proficiency in CAD software for creating detailed designs.
- Familiarity with local regulations related to landscaping and environmental conservation.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and project stakeholders.
- A keen eye for design and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Passion for sustainability and implementing eco-friendly practices in landscape design.
- Flexibility to adapt designs based on client feedback and site constraints.
