Planning And Monitoring Engineer

- Regularly track the project’s performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure objectives are met.
- Prepare and manage project schedules using specialized software, ensuring the correct scope of work is reflected and closely monitoring the critical path.
- Manage and track the allocation of resources (men and materials) through project management software, ensuring regular updates and efficient use of resources.
- Evaluate project progress, provide forecasts for completion, and implement solutions to address schedule delays and optimize project delivery.
- Keep a close watch on project activities such as material deliveries and site clearances, providing early warnings and suggesting solutions to potential risks to the project completion.
- Regularly communicate with project managers, site engineers, and teams on priorities, critical activities, and updates regarding delays or impacts to the project schedule.
- Track and report on Cost Performance (CPI) and Schedule Performance (SPI), providing ongoing analysis to support the Project Management Office (PMO) in decision-making and milestone tracking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.
- Expertise in Project Management, Risk Management, Occupational Health and Safety Standards, and Quality Control processes.
- Strong decision-making, flexibility, attention to detail, planning, teamwork, problem-solving, time management, communication, and report writing skills.
- 4-6 years of experience in a related field, with hands-on involvement in project management tasks.
- Adherence to company policies, with a strong commitment to discipline and compliance.
