Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data infrastructure using Kleene (ETL), SQL, and Looker.
- Develop data integrations with third-party tools, internal systems, and APIs.
- Design data ingestion workflows for batch and real-time sources.
- Create and manage scraping pipelines for external data (e.g., competitor pricing, blockchain, regulatory feeds).
- Partner with teams across the company to define KPIs and translate business needs into data models.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports for key departments including Product, Compliance, Marketing, and Finance.
- Monitor data quality, lineage, and validation across the data stack.
- Support growth initiatives with analytics related to acquisition, retention, and monetization.
- Define and enforce data governance and access protocols.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, engineering, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets.
- Hands-on experience with modern ETL/ELT tools like Kleene (preferred), Airbyte, Fivetran, or dbt.
- Proficient in working with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
- Experience building data pipelines and automating ingestion using Python and orchestration tools like Airflow or Zapier.
- Familiarity with data modeling best practices (e.g., star and snowflake schemas).
- Experience with Looker and LookML is highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of data governance and privacy standards.
