Responsibilities:
- Create project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop project specifications
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines
- Identify potential risks or delays and develop contingency plans
- Analyze data and provide regular reports on project status
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices
- Maintain accurate documentation of all project activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Proven experience as a Planning Engineer or similar role in the construction industry
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques
- Familiarity with relevant software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders
- A detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational abilities
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure
- Professional certifications or licenses are a plus
