Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements in collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Analyze existing banking processes, workflows, and systems to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and technical documentation.
- Prepare and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Software Requirements Specifications (SRS), functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Develop process flows and workflow documentation to support system development and implementation.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in requirement reviews and ensure alignment between business expectations and technical deliverables.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by clarifying requirements, reviewing test scenarios, and assisting with issue resolution.
- Monitor requirement changes and ensure relevant documentation is updated and communicated to concerned stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve banking processes, system functionality, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst.
- Previous experience in the banking or financial services sector is highly preferred.
- Practical experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements.
- Strong knowledge of BRDs, SRS, functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
- Experience working with banking systems, financial applications, or digital banking solutions is preferred.
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and requirements validation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable functional specifications.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
