Responsibilities
- Design and animate 2D motion graphics for video segments, including lower thirds, intros, transitions, charts, and data visualizations.
- Collaborate with producers, editors, and reporters to ensure visual elements align with editorial goals and branding.
- Work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom environment, ensuring graphics are delivered quickly and accurately.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends and incorporate fresh, innovative ideas into daily production.
- Assist with creating graphics for online content, social media platforms, and other multimedia projects.
- Ensure all designs meet brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, animation, multimedia, or a related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in 2D motion graphics design, preferably in a news or broadcast setting.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and composition.
- Ability to create dynamic, clean, and professional designs under pressure.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A portfolio demonstrating a range of motion graphics work, especially in a fast-paced, live broadcast or news environment.
