Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a multi-quarter roadmap aligned with team objectives. Define clear problem statements, prioritize effectively, establish success metrics, and balance trade-offs.
- Build evaluation frameworks, feedback loops, and human-in-the-loop QA processes while ensuring data consent, privacy, and auditability.
- Implement and maintain safeguards for PII and content moderation, ensure jailbreak resistance, and maintain alignment with privacy and data protection laws.
- Define model strategies and design systems involving RAG, prompt engineering, fallback mechanisms, caching, and rate-limiting policies.
- Monitor KPIs such as latency, response quality, safety incidents, cost efficiency, user engagement, and ROI. Conduct offline and online A/B tests to improve outcomes.
- Partner closely with these teams to deliver high-quality, user-focused UI and UX features on schedule.
- Write detailed PRDs with clear acceptance criteria and well-phased feature delivery plans.
- Define and track product KPIs, set up reporting systems, and present insights during business reviews.
- Uphold standards of privacy, security, compliance, data quality, and auditability across all initiatives.
- Coordinate effectively with Growth and Commercial teams to manage risks and ensure alignment on objectives.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience, including at least 3 years working on AI/ML or LLM products within SaaS, fintech, e-commerce, or platform environments.
- Prior experience in a leading MENA-based company or startup.
- Native-level fluency in Arabic and English, with excellent written and verbal communication, including executive-level writing.
- Proven track record of delivering impactful LLM features (e.g., assistants, summarization, RAG, classification, moderation).
- Strong focus on privacy, security, compliance, and auditability.
- Skilled at operating in ambiguous environments and driving measurable outcomes despite uncertainty.
- Consistent record of executing precise, error-free projects with thorough documentation.
- Experienced in leveraging AI and LLM tools to enhance productivity while maintaining data security.
- Advanced SQL knowledge or a strong commitment to developing this skill.
