Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of software engineers, fostering a positive and collaborative culture.
  • Own end-to-end delivery of features, including design, development, testing, and timelines.
  • Balance leadership duties with active technical contributions to development tasks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritize engineering initiatives, infrastructure updates, maintenance, and new feature requests.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert on technical topics and maintain deep knowledge of emerging technologies.
  • Communicate directly with technology partners to capture application interfaces and drive integrations.
  • Foster a high-performing team culture and promote collaboration across the engineering team.
  • Maintain extreme attention to detail, anticipating edge cases while ensuring a simple user experience.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones.
  • Hire, train, and develop technical personnel.
  • Mentor and coach team members individually, providing guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience, including proven success as a team leader.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Deep experience with ASP.NET frameworks (MVC or Web Forms) and Web APIs.
  • Proficiency in maintaining complex software systems using Microsoft .NET technologies (C#, Entity Framework, ADO.NET).
  • Skilled in web development technologies: HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular, Telerik Framework (Kendo UI and Telerik Reporting).
  • Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server databases.
  • Solid understanding of design patterns and principles for scalable, multi-threaded applications.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in distributed software architecture and delivering projects from inception to production.
  • Excellent judgment, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
