Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients in the renewable energy sector.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to achieve growth objectives.
  • Lead client acquisition, relationship management, and ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Prepare proposals, business cases, and negotiate contracts with clients, partners, and investors.
  • Collaborate with technical, engineering, marketing, and project teams to align client expectations with project deliverables.
  • Conduct financial analysis, manage budgets, and evaluate ROI for business development activities.
  • Identify and pursue market expansion opportunities through partnerships, joint ventures, and collaborations.
  • Develop sales forecasts, track performance metrics, and report progress to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • Proven track record of securing new clients and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive initiatives from conception to execution.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
