Responsibilities
Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients in the renewable energy sector.
Develop and implement business strategies to achieve growth objectives.
Lead client acquisition, relationship management, and ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
Prepare proposals, business cases, and negotiate contracts with clients, partners, and investors.
Collaborate with technical, engineering, marketing, and project teams to align client expectations with project deliverables.
Conduct financial analysis, manage budgets, and evaluate ROI for business development activities.
Identify and pursue market expansion opportunities through partnerships, joint ventures, and collaborations.
Develop sales forecasts, track performance metrics, and report progress to senior management.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and industry standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
15+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
Proven track record of securing new clients and driving revenue growth.
Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and market dynamics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to drive initiatives from conception to execution.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
