Responsibilities
- Identify vendor management business strategies and develop KPIs using the SMART objectives approach to align the team’s efforts with the company’s IT and business goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with IT vendors locally and globally to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions and services that meet client needs and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on IT industry trends by conducting market research and benchmarking to
maintain competitive advantages and deliver innovative solutions. - Monitor vendor performance through structured feedback mechanisms, conduct root cause analysis, and collaborate with internal teams to address issues effectively.
- Set guidelines and standards for vendors, including compliance requirements, and ensure they are consistently followed.
- Set performance targets for the vendor management team to enhance efficiency and support the company’s overall revenue and growth objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to improve processes related to vendor management and align them with organizational objectives.
- Oversee the procurement and management of IT-related services, such as software development, hardware provisioning, cybersecurity solutions, and system integrations.
- Identify and onboard vendors with specialized IT expertise for complex or high-priority projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or IT services.
- Proficiency in vendor management tools and platforms; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Advanced analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Experience in setting and managing departmental and project budgets.
- Familiarity with IT service management practices and standards.
