Responsibilities
- Own and lead external audit engagements from planning to execution, ensuring compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
- Develop audit plans, including risk assessments, audit programs, and timelines.
- Review financial statements and ensure adherence to IFRS and relevant regulations.
- Mentor and supervise junior audit team members, reviewing their work and providing guidance.
- Identify audit risks, control gaps, and operational inefficiencies, proposing actionable recommendations.
- Prepare clear and comprehensive audit reports, management letters, and client deliverables.
- Communicate audit findings to clients and collaborate to resolve issues efficiently.
- Coordinate with internal teams and client representatives to ensure smooth audit processes.
- Ensure timely completion of audits within agreed budgets and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–4+ years of experience in external audit at reputable auditing firms.
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, JCPA, or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- Deep knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and audit methodologies.
- Experience using audit software and accounting systems.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
