Responsibilities
- Understand the business requirements, application functionality, and system components.
- Design and execute manual test cases for Web and Mobile applications (Android and iOS).
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, exploratory, and usability testing, based on project requirements.
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect-tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and ensure high-quality product releases.
- Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and other team meetings.
- Learn and follow Agile Scrum methodology and actively participate in Scrum ceremonies.
- Maintain a detailed log of defects, test results, and follow-up actions.
- Communicate test results effectively and provide comprehensive reports to stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.
- Set up and maintain Selenium test environments, including Maven integration, Selenium WebDriver, Java, TestNG, and Jenkins.
- Set up and configure Appium test environments for mobile application testing.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in both manual and automated testing for Web and Mobile applications.
- Proficiency in designing and executing detailed manual test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Hands-on experience with various testing types such as functional, regression, exploratory, and usability testing.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in identifying and tracking software defects.
- Experience working in close collaboration with development teams to ensure quality deliverables.
- Familiarity with Selenium, Appium, Maven, Java, TestNG, and Jenkins.
- Solid understanding of Agile Scrum practices and experience participating in agile development processes.
