Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing to validate functionality and usability across different platforms.
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and checklists for web, mobile, and backend applications.
- Conduct regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing throughout release cycles.
- Identify potential risks early in development and suggest mitigation strategies.
- Participate in an onboarding program to apply existing skills and address knowledge gaps relevant to QA engineering.
- Collaborate with a mentor and tech lead to enhance both technical and soft skills as part of a personal development plan.
- Engage actively with the QA community and contribute to its growth.
- Mentor trainee QA engineers by sharing knowledge and experience.
- Enjoy the process of bug discovery while enhancing software quality.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in testing web, mobile, or desktop applications.
- Strong knowledge of testing methods, tools, and SDLC processes.
- Experience in developing test strategies and evaluating test coverage.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking and version control systems.
- Understanding of client-server architecture.
- Experience with API testing.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher.
- Ability to multitask and adapt quickly.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and self-development mindset.
- Degree in IT or a related field (preferred).
- Basic programming or scripting skills (preferred).
- Experience with automation in Java, C#, Python, or similar (preferred).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (preferred).
- Exposure to performance testing (preferred).
- Knowledge of traffic analysis tools such as Fiddler or Wireshark (preferred).
