Responsibilities
Lead the organization’s overall financial strategy and long-term financial planning.
Act as the main financial advisor to the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and Audit Committees.
Oversee strategic planning, forecasting, and investment strategies to support sustainable growth.
Develop innovative funding models and partnerships to ensure long-term financial sustainability.
Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.
Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, including annual operational plans and multi-year projections.
Oversee financial planning and analysis (FP&A), financial management, and cost modeling to guide decision-making.
Monitor key financial KPIs, ratios, and overall organizational financial health.
Present complex financial information clearly to executives, board members, and non-financial stakeholders.
Support organizational transformation and change management through strong financial leadership.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent preferred).
Minimum 10 years of senior-level financial leadership experience, ideally in NGOs, international development, or the non-profit sector.
Strong understanding of donor-funded projects, particularly with bilateral and multilateral agencies.
Proven expertise in cost allocation, revenue modeling, and strategic financial planning.
Strong presentation and communication skills at the executive and board level.
Ability to simplify and communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in organizational transformation and financial change management.
