Responsibilities
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using C# / ASP.NET Core.
- Lead the integration of LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT, Azure OpenAI) into core product workflows, including prompts, embeddings, and completions.
- Develop RAG pipelines, incorporating vector stores, semantic search, and contextual data retrieval.
- Collaborate with data engineers and product managers to design intelligent features based on user needs and business logic.
- Optimize data flow between backend systems and AI components.
- Ensure robustness, scalability, and security of backend + AI features.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and agile ceremonies.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, performance tuning, and monitoring.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend development with .NET (C# / ASP.NET Core).
- Strong foundation in OOP, SOLID principles, and asynchronous programming.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and working with SQL Server.
- Proven experience integrating with OpenAI APIs or similar LLM platforms.
- Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) or semantic search techniques.
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering, embedding models, and token limitations in LLMs.
- Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD workflows.
