Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHS/Sustainability) management system in compliance with company standards, legal requirements, and best practices.
Act as the site Sustainability expert and main point of contact, advising management, supervisors, and employees on EHS matters.
Identify, assess, and control health, safety, and environmental risks through audits, inspections, incident investigations, and emergency preparedness.
Ensure compliance with all applicable EHS regulations, company requirements, and contractor standards.
Plan, deliver, and improve Sustainability training and awareness programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.
Monitor, analyze, and report Sustainability performance indicators, ensuring accuracy and timely communication to management.
Integrate Sustainability requirements into projects, equipment, and facility changes, including waste, energy, and environmental improvement initiatives.
Lead incident management, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continual improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering (Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field preferred).
Proper professional certification/qualification as required by local legislation.
1–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of EHS legal requirements and standards (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001, ISO 50001).
Fluency in English; local language is an asset.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
