Responsibilities
- Support the QA team in testing web, mobile, and API-based applications.
- Execute manual test cases including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Create, update, and maintain test cases and test documentation using TestRail or similar tools.
- Identify, document, and track defects using Jira.
- Assist in automation testing using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Appium.
- Perform basic API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Help validate bug fixes and perform retesting.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and QA activities.
- Support automated test execution within CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to improving testing processes and overall product quality.
- Learn and explore modern QA practices, including AI-driven testing tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in QA and software testing.
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.
- Familiarity with manual testing methodologies and bug reporting.
- Exposure to automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or Appium is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, and Confluence is an advantage.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration abilities.
- Eagerness to learn automation testing and modern QA technologies.
