Prepare and consolidate monthly management accounts across the group structure. Manage intercompany transactions, ensure accurate eliminations (by liaising with counterparties to confirm balances and transactions), and maintain a clean consolidated general ledger
Execute full-cycle bookkeeping for two group treasury companies and the parent company. This includes managing daily and monthly journal entries, cashbook capturing on Xero, bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and maintaining accurate financial records (including balance sheet reconciliations) and ad hoc entries where required.
calculate the monthly depreciation for review by the financial controller and prepare schedules for any possible impairment, write off or disposals for discussion.
Assist in the preparation of annual group budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
Monitor and forecast cash flows, tracking intercompany loan balances, treasury movements, and liquidity across the group.
Compare consolidated and entity-level financial performance against budgets and forecasts. Investigate significant variances and report actionable findings to senior management.
Produce timely, accurate financial reports and KPI dashboards for internal stakeholders, translating complex multi-entity data into clear business insights.
Identify and implement efficiencies in the consolidation process, intercompany billing, and treasury bookkeeping workflows.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional accounting qualification is highly preferred (CPA, CMA, CIMA, or CGMA).
3–5 years of accounting experience, specifically including multi-entity consolidations, intercompany accounting, and financial planning (FP&A).
Strong understanding of consolidation principles and intercompany reconciliations.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modelling and complex formulas).
Hands-on experience with modern ERP systems and multi-company accounting software.
High attention to detail, specifically when managing cross-entity transactions.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to step back and see the broader financial picture.
Excellent communication skills to partner effectively with non-financial department heads.
